Commissions

I love working directly with clients to design custom paintings. I limit the number of slots available so that I can spend time getting to know your book of choice and bring something special to life for you. My current availability is at the bottom of this page. 

The Process

1. Contact me! As soon as you think you may be interested in a custom painting, please get in touch so that we can have an informal chat about what you’re looking for. I can work with you to build a design whether you already know exactly what you’re looking for, or are still in the dreaming stages.
2. Design Board: Once we’ve identified the book and had a chat about design ideas, I’ll put together an image board for you to make sure that our visions are aligned. 
   
3. Deposit: I’ll take a small deposit before sourcing the exact edition that we’ll be working with 
   
4. Sketch: I’ll sketch our design in pencil, to the dimensions of the book, and send it to you for approval 
5. Painting Approval: I’ll send you high resolution photographs and video of the finished book before wrapping it up for you 
6. Final Payment and Delivery: Once I’ve received the final payment, I’ll send it out to you by an insured delivery method. (Free within the UK).

Prices 

Prices for a commissioned book vary depending on the edition, level of detail, and turn-around time. As a rough estimate, commissions start at £275 and rise to £2000, with most standard sized 3-sided works costing approximately £325-£425. I can offer advice and work with you to find something to suit your budget, just get in touch.
